Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team, providing high-quality grooms to a variety of breeds .
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 yrs experience - while this is not a trainee position I would consider someone who is newly qualified if they have potential to develop
We are a small busy and friendly salon who has an excellent reputation in the area operating since 2008 .
Requirements
- Previous experience using an electronic diary booking system is desirable but not essential
- Strong passion for grooming standards taking a pride in your work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with owners about requirements of a groom , ability to do small talk and make them feel welcome whilst also enforcing business policies
- Handle dogs gently with patience and confidence ensuring their safety, comfort and supporting more anxious dogs
- Organised and effective time management to ensure quality grooming results within diary time .
- Able to work independently but also part of team assisting colleagues where needed .
- Willingness to continue to learn
- Considerate of others and willingness to take on share cleaning duties in the salon
Part time with the possibility of full time hours
We are open Tuesday - Saturday however Monday opening is available once established
Hourly pay depending on experience
