Fitness Coordinator & Personal Trainer

Pyramid Leisure Club, St Helens

Are you a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer looking for a role that offers guaranteed hours, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to grow your own Personal Training business?

Pyramid Leisure Club is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and approachable Fitness Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Trainer who wants the security of employed hours whilst building a successful client base within an established and growing leisure club.

Unlike many facilities, there are no rental fees. Instead, you'll receive guaranteed employed hours, holiday pay, pension contributions and access to an established membership base, giving you the platform to develop your PT business from day one.

About the Role

This is a 16-hour per week employed position, including a mixture of fitness coordination, member engagement, gym floor support, operational duties and group fitness delivery. Evening and weekend availability will be required.

As Fitness Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the fitness department whilst delivering an outstanding experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver gym inductions, health assessments and programme reviews
Support members on the gym floor and help them achieve their fitness goals
Deliver engaging group fitness classes
Create exercise programmes tailored to member needs
Drive member engagement, retention and overall customer satisfaction
Conduct health and safety checks and maintain high standards throughout the club
Support the day-to-day operation of the fitness department
Assist with opening and closing procedures when required
Respond professionally to member enquiries and concerns
Support membership growth through excellent customer service and relationship building
Work alongside the General Manager to develop and grow the fitness offering

In addition to your employed hours, you will have the opportunity to build and develop your own Personal Training client base through our existing membership network.

What We're Looking For

Level 3 Personal Training Qualification (CIMSPA, REPs or equivalent)
A genuine passion for health, fitness and helping people achieve their goals
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Friendly, professional and approachable manner
Self-motivated with the desire to build a successful PT business
Ability to engage confidently with members on the gym floor
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing team
