Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor for a new Venue in St Helens to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and crowd management. This role requires a calm demeanour, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding all individuals on site. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety is paramount.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorised access and maintain order within the premises
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats or suspicious activity
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
Manage crowds during events or busy periods, ensuring smooth flow and safety for all attendees
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Carry out routine checks of the premises to identify any security vulnerabilities or hazards

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
Experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or loss prevention is desirable
Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events as required
Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly to incidents
