About Vara Education
Vara Education has been supporting schools for over 11 years, helping them find reliable, passionate and professional education staff.
We are now looking for enthusiastic Primary Teachers, including QTS teachers and ECTs, to join our supply team and support local primary schools across Ellesmere Port, Chester, Neston and the surrounding areas.
Whether you are looking for flexible supply work, short term cover, long term placements, or a way to gain more experience in different schools, we would love to hear from you.

The Role
As a Primary Supply Teacher with Vara Education, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Follow school policies, routines and lesson plans
Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally
Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups and settings
Support pupils with their learning, confidence and development
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional conduct
Work closely with school staff to ensure a smooth and positive day for pupils
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status, QTS
ECTs are welcome to apply
Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools, or teaching placements completed as part of teacher training
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A positive, flexible and professional attitude
Excellent communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
Experience across more than one key stage
Confidence teaching different year groups
Knowledge of the current primary curriculum
A calm, reliable and adaptable approach
