We're looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy Pet Sitter to provide exceptional in-home care for our clients' pets while they're away. If you love animals and are looking for flexible, rewarding work, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Pet Sitter, you'll stay in clients' homes, caring for their pets and maintaining their normal routines while their owners are away. Our aim is to provide pets with a stress-free alternative to kennels, allowing them to remain happy and comfortable in their own home.
This role involves overnight stays in clients' homes, with bookings ranging from 1 night up to 14 nights.
You'll care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats and other small pets, providing companionship, feeding, walks (where required), enrichment, and ensuring their daily routines are followed.
As many of our dogs cannot be left alone for long periods, this role is ideally suited to someone who works remotely or has a flexible part-time job, allowing them to spend most of the day with the pets in their care.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience caring for both dogs and cats.
- Has a genuine love for all animals.
- Is calm, patient and compassionate.
- Works remotely or has a flexible part-time job.
- Is happy to stay overnight in clients' homes.
- Is extremely reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Can confidently work independently.
- Is able to follow care instructions and maintain pets' routines.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle (preferred).
- Is willing to undergo a DBS check before joining the team.

Leo's Furry Friends is a busy, well-established pet care business covering the whole of Preston. With a growing client base, we expect to begin offering Pet Sitting services from September 2026.
As demand grows, there may be multiple bookings available each month, and you can choose how much work you'd like to take on—from the occasional booking to a regular schedule.
