FI Real Estate Management are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join their team in a full time, permanent basis. The right candidate will have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and will have excellent organisational skills.

Your key duties as a Senior Estimator will be…

An ability to understand and comply with Company Procedures
Understanding and interpretation of Client briefs.
Produce detailed cost plans aligning with briefs and associated documentation.
Be able to work on and cost multiple projects at any given time.
Use technical knowledge to price projects effectively with varying levels of information.
Understand and make allowances for compliance.
Work closely with suppliers/subcontractors to achieve best price.
Carry out surveys to assist with design and quantifying.
Determine how progress will impact cost.
Influence project decision making with pre-construction advice.
Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the manager.
Understanding associated risk areas and making allowances accordingly.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Competencies

Construction and fit-out experience (especially within commercial offices and industrial.
Attention to detail.
Ability to estimate multiple projects at any one time.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly organised.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and pivot when necessary.
