The Manchester Site:
That layout gives the Manchester site a very clear "upward" energy—starting with the casual, high-traffic Vietnamese Café on the ground floor and transitioning into the more premium casual Restaurant, Private Dining, and Late-Night Bar upstairs.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a hands-on General Manager to spearhead our Manchester expansion. You will be the "boots on the ground" leader, responsible for building the team from scratch alongside the owner, you will have the opportunity to lead a historic opening for the brand, as this is our first phase of expansion out of Nottingham.
· The Launch Lead: Oversee the middle and final stages of the Manchester opening, including recruitment for a large team, local marketing integration, and setting operational standards.
· Multi-Concept Mastery: You will manage the seamless transition between daytime Cafe/Bakery operations and high-energy Nightclub/Restaurant service.
· Compliance & Safety: Acting as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS), ensuring 100% compliance with licensing, fire safety, and health & safety regulations.
· Culture Builder: You will hire, train, and retain a team of supervisors and front-of-house staff, instilling our brand values into the entire team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven Multi-Unit Experience: At least 2-3 years in a high-volume GM role that includes both food-led (Restaurant/Cafe) and wet-led (Nightclub/Bar) environments.
- Financial Literacy: You can read a P&L, understand stock variance, and know how to control a rota to hit labour % targets.
- Operational Grit: You lead from the front. You are on the floor during peak hours, setting the pace for the team of 100+ new staff
- The "Chameleon" Personality: You are a high-energy leader who can talk coffee origins at 10 AM and also command a large team of security and floor staff at 12 AM without missing a beat.
- The "Vibe" Architect: You have an obsessive eye for detail. You understand that "atmosphere" is a product we sell.
- A "Calm in the Chaos" Mentor: you always remain the steadiest person in the building. You earn the respect of your team by being the hardest worker in the room, not by managing from an office.
