Job Overview
For our Italian Restaurant we are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous minimum 3 years experience in Italian Restaurant, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, and a passion for food safety and excellent service is essential.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.
Serve meals, drinks, and desserts efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to throughout service.
Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary to support the kitchen team.
Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area before, during, and after service.
Support baristas with basic barista experience when required, including preparing coffee and other beverages.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant service or hospitality roles is preferred.
Knowledge of catering, serving techniques, and food safety regulations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the restaurant setting, including food preparation if needed.
A friendly demeanour with excellent organisational skills.
Previous barista experience is considered an advantage but is not essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can flourish while providing memorable experiences for our guests. We value professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
