Full job description

Concrete Operative

Bespoke Concrete is a manufacturer of precast concrete products. We specialize in small batch orders and manufacture a variety of different products every day.

We are looking to recruit a construction skilled worker for a full-time position for a concrete operative to join our team.

The successful applicant will be required to initially work within our wet cast team making products. Operations within the department include: setting moulds, filling moulds, demoulding product based, mixing concrete for daily production requirements. We offer full on the job training.

What we offer:

· 24 days paid holiday plus all bank holidays

· Christmas shutdown

· Standard hours: Monday – Thursday 07:00 to 15:30. Friday 07:30 to 14:30

· A competitive rate of pay

What we look for:

· Construction experience, manufacturing or site

· Ideally some experience using a trowel, this could be concrete finishing or brickwork

· Reliability

· Keen to learn new skills

· Ability to develop

· Being a team player

What our ideal employee would offer:

· Experience in a concrete production manufacturing environment with some experience of finishing and repairing precast concrete.

· Site experience including a valid CSCS card

· A forklift truck license, and experience of moving concrete products

· An Overhead Crane License and experience of turning and moving concrete products

· A full driving license

Once new employees have completed a successful probation period (3 months) we also offer experience and training in other areas of the business, ensuring a full business understanding and a flexible workforce.
