THE ROLE
Ancient + Brave is growing across both our home UK market and our German market, and our Marketing Managers need a brilliant, bilingual right hand to help them deliver.
As the UK and Germany Marketing Assistant you will support both the UK and German Marketing Managers across the day-to-day running of marketing: helping plan and deliver campaigns, getting content live across channels, and keeping projects moving. Because you are fluent in German, you will be especially valuable in bringing our brand to life for a German audience in partnership with the Germany team.
This is a hands-on role and a brilliant place to learn. You will touch most parts of the marketing mix, work across two markets, and build the foundations of a strong marketing career in a brand that cares deeply about doing things well.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Help plan and deliver marketing campaigns across the UK and German markets, keeping timelines, assets, and approvals on track.
Create, adapt, and proof content for both markets, writing and reviewing German-language copy so it reads naturally and is on brand.
Coordinate with nutrition, science, creative and brand teams, including designers, producers and external production teams to get high-quality work produced on time across multiple channels.
Help run the marketing plan day to day, ensuring the messaging is connected across all channels and that all assets are delivered on time and in the right formats across both markets .
Keep our product and campaign information accurate and up to date across channels and storefronts.
Support always-on activity and react quickly when plans change.
Pull together regular performance reports for both markets and flag what is working and what is not.
Keep marketing organised: managing the calendar, trackers, and assets so nothing slips.
Be a reliable point of contact between the UK and German Managers and the wider team.
WHO YOU ARE
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:
Fluent German (native or near-native) and excellent English, confident writing and proof-reading marketing copy in both languages.
Some marketing experience, whether through a placement, internship, or a first role, ideally with exposure to direct-to-consumer (DTC), ecommerce, or a consumer brand.
Familiarity with marketing channels such as email, social, and websites, and an eagerness to learn the rest.
Well organised, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to juggle several tasks at once.
A genuine interest in wellness, health, or the A+B world is a real plus.
Proactive and dependable. You take ownership of your work and follow things through.
Detail-obsessed. You notice the typo, the broken link, the off-brand image.
A clear communicator who keeps people informed and asks good questions.
Eager to learn and grow, and happy to get involved wherever you are needed.
Brand-minded, with pride in producing work that looks and feels right.
Further, to truly thrive at Ancient + Brave you will need to embody the spirit of our brand and align with our company culture. For us that is a series of shared beliefs:
WE BELIEVE IN BRAVERY — We are: Courageous, Bold, Experimental
WE BELIEVE IN INTEGRITY — We are: Honest, Accountable, Ethical
WE BELIEVE IN CONNECTION — We are: Collaborative, Inclusive, Open
WE BELIEVE IN INTENTION — We are: Purposeful, Proactive, Focused
