Join Our Growing Geotechnical Team!

Are you an early-career Engineer passionate about geotechnical engineering? Aspiring to become a chartered geologist (CGeol) or chartered civil engineer (CEng)?

The role

Hands-On Experience: Work closely with senior colleagues on site supervision, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis.
Diverse Projects: Gain exposure across multiple geoscience disciplines.
UK and Overseas Opportunities: Supervise projects locally and abroad.

Duties will include:

Monitoring and supervision of fieldwork including ground investigations, landfill engineering, earthworks
Collecting soil samples for geotechnical testing
Carrying out insitu geotechnical testing
Geotechnical data logging
Scheduling geotechnical laboratory testing
Preparing factual reports
Preparing health and safety plans and risk assessments

Please note that, due to site travel requirements, a full driving licence valid in the UK is essential for this role.

About you

Educational Background: Civil Engineering, Geology, Geological Hazards, Geotechnical Engineering, or relevant MSc.
Technical Skills: Understand UK ground investigation techniques, specifications, and standards.
Leadership: Comfortable supervising and instructing others to carry out fieldwork tasks efficiently and safely (full H&S training will be provided)
Professional Membership: Graduate level membership of a relevant body (or eligibility).
