Division: DDL Timber Packaging

Hours of Work: Full-time: Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm, Friday 8am–1pm – 37 hours per week.

Formed over 100 years ago to support the manufacture of Dawson Downie Pumps, DDL Pattern and Case Making Division has grown to become a standalone division serving an international client base that includes companies in the engineering, automotive, manufacturing, and marine sectors.

Dawson Downie Lamont (DDL) has been providing high quality industrial cases and export packaging services as well as bespoke pattern making to both domestic and an international client base.

We have established our enviable reputation in the market by understanding the importance of high-quality packaging solutions in our clients’ business.

We are now looking for an experienced Industrial Case Maker to join our team in Glenrothes.

The ideal candidate would ideally have worked on timber manufacturing machinery such as nail guns/crosscut saws and all tools associated with carpentry.

An up-to-date certificate to operate a forklift truck is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided as required.

The ideal candidate must have a passion for quality and attention to detail to be able to work to the very high technical specifications required.
