Responsible for operating a Laser cutting machine.
Main tasks of job:
- Loading/unloading the machine of material.
- Operating machine whilst using ERP system to validate each job.
- Packaging of parts ready for its next operation or delivery to customers.
- General maintenance of machine and work area to keep a tidy and efficient work space.
Skills needed:
- Basic IT skills is essential.
- Being able to work within a team.
- Punctual, polite and willing to learn.
- Counter balance fork lift licence preferential.
- Experience of running a laser cutter is preferable but not essential, on-site training will be given.
Working hours and holidays:
- 42.5 hours per week.
- Overtime almost always available and is paid at 1.5x basic for the first 6.5 hours per week then 2x basic.
- 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
- For each full calendar year worked you receive an extra days holiday up to a maximum of 25 days per year (plus bank holidays)
- Wage will be negotiated by experience
