Full job description

We’re looking for a talented and creative Unity Engine artist/developer to help us bring our characters and virtual beings to life!

Here at Charisma, we’re shaping the future of interactive entertainment, where players can have conversations with the characters using AI. And now we’re searching for someone to add to our growing team who can bring their Unity expertise to build games and experiences that showcase our conversation tech.

While most of this role will be focused on increasing the quality of 3D character animations (emotion-driven facial animation, full body animation, and lip sync), we’re also looking for someone with an artistic flair who can help us get the most out of our environments by using lighting, post-processing, particles and VFX.

You’ll be investigating, implementing and tweaking...

Animation systems and clips for full-body and facial animations for our characters

Lip sync solutions for both static and dynamic speech clips

IK systems to give characters more of a presence in the world

Character skinning and weight painting

Re-targeting mocap data

Lighting and post-processing of environments

Making the worlds feel real by contributing to game design

We’d love you to be...

Deeply experienced using Unity and 3D engines

Experienced with animating and building 3D characters and worlds

Excited about digital humans, the metaverse, and conversational tech
