Precision Engineer- CNC operator
The candidate will operate CNC lathes with live tooling capabilities to produce precision components mainly for the aerospace industry.
Batches of components are normally under 50 parts making for a very interesting position with lots of opportunities for learning, improving and problem solving.
Fanuc language programming skills would be preferred but training can be given.
Working hours:
Mon-Thurs 7.30am-4.30pm
Fri 7.30am- 12.30pm
With overtime available
Duties:
-Machining parts to a high and consistent standard
-Operating CNC lathes
-Operating manual lathes/mills
-Keeping area tidy and clean
-Programming CNC Fanuc language code (guidance and instruction may be given)
-Be able to work as part of a small team
-General adhoc tasks
-Be punctual and friendly
-Be willing to learn and improve
Minimum Qualifications needed:
-3 years CNC machining experience
Qualifications leading to higher wage offer:
-5+ years cnc precision engineering experience
-Ability to read and program using Fanuc language
- Cad Cam experience
-Engineering qualification
