Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated factory helper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises & to help in both departments which include our raw production side & our smoked production side. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.

Duties

Learn all roles in our raw production & smoke Production area.
Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, jet washing, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members to meet specific cleaning requirements.
Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required.
Maintain organised work areas and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled times.

Experience

Previous experience in cleaning & production is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Customer service experience is advantageous, especially when interacting with visitors.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards.
