To provide and be responsible for the smooth operational support of the HR centralised recruitment programmes.
To provide other HR administration processes when the department workload demands to support the HR function.
The HR Department provides strategic and operational support across the Trust, ensuring services are delivered effectively, compliantly, and in line with Trust policies and employment legislation.
Key responsibilities include supporting recruitment and selection processes, advising managers on vacancy approval procedures, arranging interviews, conducting ID, right-to-work and visa checks, and providing guidance to managers, staff and candidates. The role also involves managing recruitment enquiries via telephone, email and Trac, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
The postholder will undertake a range of administrative duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, handling post, maintaining employee records, and providing reception support to visitors, staff and job applicants. Accurate maintenance of HR systems, including Trac and ESR, is essential to ensure employee data remains up to date.
Working closely with HR colleagues, payroll, rostering teams and managers, the role supports onboarding processes, payroll deadlines and staff inductions. The postholder will organise and prioritise workloads, respond to changing demands, provide cover for colleagues when required, and contribute to a high-quality HR service.
The role requires effective communication, sound judgement, strong organisational skills and a commitment to equality, respect, confidentiality, health and safety, and excellent customer service.
