We are proudly creating a new senior leadership role to transform how digital tools, structured data and analytics are used across our national Cost and Commercial Management practice of 200 professionals. Working closely with senior leaders, technology specialists and clients, you will define and deliver a digital and data strategy that enhances professional judgement, improves decision-making and creates innovative solutions for major projects and programmes. This is a unique opportunity to build a capability from the ground up, influence a nationally connected practice and establish new services that deliver real value to clients.
What You'll Be Doing
As Digital and Data Lead, you will sit at the intersection of cost management, technology and client delivery, helping shape how data and digital capability are used across our national Cost and Commercial Management practice.
You will:

Develop and lead the digital and data strategy for Cost and Commercial Management, aligning with business priorities and client needs.

Create and deliver a roadmap of tools, systems and data capabilities that improve how our teams plan, manage and report on projects and programmes.

Establish more consistent approaches to capturing, structuring and using cost data across projects, sectors and regions.

Develop dashboards, benchmarking, forecasting and decision-support tools that provide meaningful insight for both practitioners and clients.

Work alongside our Technology and Data and Analytics teams to evaluate, implement and embed digital solutions that enhance project delivery.

Identify new opportunities to deploy digital and data-led services within major client programmes and portfolios.

Champion the adoption of best practice, building capability and confidence across our Cost & Commercial Management community.

Help shape future investment in the capability, with the opportunity to build and lead a specialist digital and data team as the function evolves.
This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to influence a national discipline, shape new client offerings and play a key role in the future evolution of cost management at Ridge.
Your work could include helping a client establish a consistent view of cost and risk across a capital programme, improving portfolio reporting, developing sector-specific benchmarking, strengthening early-stage cost intelligence or introducing tools that allow project teams to identify emerging issues sooner. Internally, you will work with colleagues responsible for cost planning, master planning, refurbishment projects, contract administration and major ongoing assurance programmes. You will help these teams draw greater value from the information they already hold while establishing better ways to capture and reuse knowledge in the future.
About You
You may come from consultancy, client-side, contractor or major programme environments and will bring:

You’ll have senior level experience in cost management, commercial management, project controls or programme delivery – with a full operational knowledge of cost management practices and processes.

A strong understanding of how cost and commercial data is created, managed and used across projects and programmes.

Experience leading digital, data, analytics or systems initiatives from concept through to implementation.

The ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and practical business outcomes.

Strong stakeholder management, leadership and influencing skills.

A commercial mindset and a passion for using technology and data to improve client outcomes.
