Radiographer - (Link grade opportunity to support progression from Band 5 to Band 6)

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Radiographers to join our dynamic and supportive Radiology team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical expertise within a forward-thinking service, working alongside experienced colleagues in a collaborative and inclusive environment. As a Radiographer, you will deliver a high-quality, patient-centred imaging service within a busy and dynamic Radiology department.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and adapt radiographic examinations independently, ensuring safe and effective patient care

Justify imaging requests and work in line with IR(ME)R 2017 and departmental protocols

Support daily service delivery, including participation in out-of-hours and weekend rotas

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient pathways

Supervise and support students and junior staff

Maintain high standards of radiation safety, governance, and quality

Participate in audit, CPD, and continuous service improvement activities

Use RIS/PACS systems effectively and report equipment issues promptly

Communicate clearly with patients, ensuring dignity, confidentiality, and compassionate care

Comply with Trust policies including health & safety, infection control, and information governance
