Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the successful delivery of commercial and industrial electrical projects across the UK. Reporting to the Contracts/Project Manager, you will take a hands-on leadership role on site, supervising electrical installations while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance. This is a role that offers autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to technically varied and challenging projects, including work within the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Supervisor you will play a critical role within our Manchester team. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervise and deliver commercial and industrial electrical installations in line with project specifications and industry regulations
Interpret and work directly from technical drawings and scopes of work
Lead site-based electrical works, promoting a strong culture of health, safety and environmental compliance
Ensure all installation methods and practices meet required standards and regulations
Coordinate effectively with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients
Support project programmes, customer targets and deadlines, including working away from home and undertaking overtime where required
Carry out electrical testing and inspection works to 18th Edition BS 7671 standards (where applicable)
Complete all required documentation and reports accurately using Microsoft Office applications
Maintain a professional approach at all times and drive continuous improvement through technical expertise and leadership

Your skills and experiences:

Time-served electrical apprenticeship
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
C&G 2391 (or current equivalent) Inspection and Testing qualification
SSSTS or SMSTS certification
Full UK driving licence
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project delivery team
Confident and competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
