Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and experienced Kitchen Assistants to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations during assigned shifts, maintaining excellent customer service, and supporting the team to achieve performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Excellence: Run the engine - managing food preparation and cleaning with great communication, speed and accuracy all while maintaining food safety.

- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to.

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.

- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food preparation methods.

- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Skills:

- Proven experience in a fast food kitchen.

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
