Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for training dogs of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring they develop proper behaviour and obedience skills. The Dog Trainer will work closely with clients to understand their training needs and deliver customised training programmes in a professional, caring environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct individualised training sessions to teach dogs basic commands and behavioural modifications
- Develop customised training programmes tailored to each dog’s needs and owner’s goals
- Monitor and assess dog progress throughout the training process, adjusting techniques as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on ongoing training and behaviour management at home
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised training environment at all times
- Handle dogs safely during training sessions, demonstrating patience and professionalism
- Keep detailed records of training progress and client interactions
- Assist with behavioural assessments and recommend appropriate training plans or veterinary referrals if needed
Experience
- Proven experience in dog training, behaviour modification, or related fields is preferred, although not necessary as we offer mentorship
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds
- Physical capability for heavy lifting when handling larger dogs or equipment during training sessions
- A genuine passion for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends or early mornings if required, to accommodate training schedules
- Must have a drivers license
- Must be comfortable working with or learning to work with difficult dogs

Pay: £50.00-£200.00 per day
