Assistant Manager – Accounting & Financial Reporting

At Apex Business Services (part of Apex Group), we’re growing and looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Accounting & Financial Reporting team. You’ll work with a varied client portfolio, lead teams across multiple locations, and gain exposure to complex, international business environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own delivery for a portfolio of clients, including monthly management accounts
Lead and review work from junior team members across global service centres (India and Mauritius)
Provide technical accounting guidance and support complex client queries
Oversee payments, reporting, and key financial processes
Manage year-end deliverables including financial statements (UK GAAP and IFRS)
Coordinate with auditors and internal teams to meet deadlines
Support tax compliance (VAT, Corporation Tax, P11Ds, PSA)
Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth

What We’re Looking For

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or final-year ACCA students with strong relevant experience
Experience preparing management accounts, ideally in a multi-client environment
Strong technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders
Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
A collaborative team player with ambition to develop
