Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented practice Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be supporting both the accounts department and tax department offering a varied role.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts preparation for SME clients (FRS 102 Section 1a & FRS 105).
Preparation of Corporation Tax computations & CT600’s
Advising clients on salary and dividends.
Preparation of Personal Tax Returns and MTD Returns.
Assisting with VAT Returns.
Be the first point of contact for allocated clients, responding to various client enquiries in an accurate and timely manner.
Working within a team to ensure deadlines are met and be able to work independently.

Essential Requirements:

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Freeagent or similar platforms is essential
Have a minimum of 5 years accountancy practice experience.
Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices.
ACCA, CTA, AAT or ATT preferable.

This is a full time role, or can be part time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
