Full job description

Salary: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

Full Time Option: 30–45 hours per week, Monday to Thursday

Salary Review: Potential for raise based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

Sorting, washing, drying, and ironing various types of laundry items, including clothing, linens, and uniforms
Inspecting items for stains or damage and taking appropriate actions
Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
Adhering to safety and hygiene protocols while handling chemicals and equipment
Collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualities:

Strong work ethic and reliability
Excellent organizational skills
Willingness to listen and follow instructions
Punctuality and dependability

Experience:

While prior experience in a laundry setting is preferred, it is not essential. We welcome individuals with a good level of domestic experience and will provide training to ensure you are well-equipped for the role. However, please note that if you do not enjoy ironing, this position may not be suitable for you.
