The Role

Our Client is seeking a Business Transformation Lead to champion the business vision for the Developer Services transformation. The role is responsible for ensuring alignment between strategic intent, process design and solution outcomes, and for supporting the organisation to realise the benefits set out in the Business Case.

While overall delivery accountability sits with the Business and Digital Project Managers, this role provides continuity of vision, business context and strategic direction throughout the lifecycle of the programme.

Joining at the point where high‑level requirements have been defined, processes mapped, and the Salesforce Delivery Partner is imminently onboarding, the Business Transformation Lead will:

Bring a strong service design and customer experience lens, ensuring solutions are end-to-end, practical and deliver measurable improvements in service outcomes.
Act as the senior business design authority across the programme, maintaining alignment between business objectives, process design and system configuration.
Work closely with Product, Digital and the Salesforce Delivery Partner to shape solution design and prioritisation, balancing customer experience, operational efficiency and technical constraints.
Drive standardisation and simplification, challenging bespoke requirements and guiding the organisation toward scalable, sustainable solutions.
Engage SMEs and senior stakeholders to elevate thinking, challenge assumptions and converge on clear design decisions.
Ensure change is successfully landed into the business, with new ways of working embedded, adoption achieved, and benefits realised and sustained over time.

Essential Experience

Proven experience leading customer‑focused business transformations, with hands‑on involvement in shaping system and process design to improve customer experience and service outcomes.
Strong Salesforce experience, ideally leading or shaping business‑side design for large‑scale Salesforce implementations.
Demonstrable service design capability, applying end‑to‑end, customer‑centred thinking to complex transformations.
Experience delivering transformation in regulated environments, ideally within utilities and Developer Services.
A strong track record of providing senior business leadership — setting direction, influencing at executive level, making difficult decisions, and driving alignment.
Ability to work effectively with SMEs to elevate thinking, challenge assumptions and converge on coherent, standardised solutions.

What This Role Is NOT

A project or programme management role
A pure change management or communications role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £450.00 per day

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Reading RG1 1LZ
