Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population across various settings, including community clinics, nursing homes, and home care environments. Our Practice
· List size of around 6500 patients using EMIS Web
· 2 partners
· 2 Salaried GPs
·Other clinical staff- Prescriber Pharmacist, Advanced HCA, Practice Nurse, Pharmacy Technician, Advanced Physiotherapist, Physician Associate
· Access to ARRS staff such as Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, and Dietitian.
· Teaching practice- Medical students, Physician Associates, Clinical pharmacists
· Strong supportive administrative team with safe and efficient processes managing clinical documents and prescriptions. The workflow is kept to a minimum for our clinicians.
· Clinical pharmacist managing LTCs
· Regular clinical and educational meetings
· Consistently high QOF achievement
· Home visits seldom occur, typically 1-2 per month. Community Matron would do the routine visits
Working Hours / Sessions - (4 to 6 sessions per week)
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, assessments, and examinations to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Develop personalised treatment plans, including medication administration and follow-up care.
- Perform or supervise medical imaging procedures as required for accurate diagnosis.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on specialised care such as ICU, hospice, or senior care services.
- Engage in clinical research projects to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide health education and preventive advice tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Lead or participate in public health initiatives aimed at improving community health standards.
- Support nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care across various settings.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Medical Degree with registration as a General Practitioner (GP) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Proven experience in clinical research, ICU settings, or public health programmes is desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and patient care protocols.
- Prior experience working within nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospice environments, or providing home care services is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques relevant to general practice.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Pay: £44,000.00-£66,000.00 per year
