Full job description

Goring and Woodcote Medical Practice is a friendly, caring, and welcoming GP Practice offering high-quality, NHS primary care services to our patient population from our two locations in Goring and Woodcote.

We aim to provide high-quality, caring, and personal health care service to our whole patient population because every patient matters.

Goring & Woodcote Medical Practice is looking to recruit enthusiastic, polite, and highly motivated Care Navigators with good communication skills who would like to join our friendly and hard-working team.

We are looking to recruit admin / care navigators (receptionist/call-handling) who will be able to work out from both our sites and are able to work between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00 Monday - Friday.

This is a busy and sometimes challenging job. The role is varied and includes dealing with patients at the front desk, booking appointments, dealing with hospital referrals, answering the phones, changing, or cancelling patients' appointments, supporting the GP's administratively, along with general duties to include data entry, scanning of records, and copying/filing.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, customer-focused applicants. You will need to show a genuine desire to offer outstanding patient communication. This will be face-to-face contact, and phone work at our care navigation hub. You should be confident in working with IT.

Experience working within a GP is preferred.

Contracted hours;

Monday 08:00 - 13:15, Tuesday 12:45 - 19:30, Wednesday 12:45 - 19:30 and Friday 08:00 - 13:15, totalling 23 hours a week.
