Workshop Production assistant

Our workshop is located in Helston, Cornwall.
KF Online Ltd has been manufacturing giftware for over 15 years from our little workshop in Helston, we are a small gift manufacturing company that ships thousands of items all over the world each month.
We are a close-knit small team that work together to design, manufacture and pack our items to the highest level of care. As we are a small team we rely much on everybody fitting in with the team and putting 100% into their work no matter how small the task.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Workshop Assistant to join our small team. This role will run until End of August. The role has a 2 week trial period which serves to ensure both the company and you can see that you’re the best fit for the role. This is a seasonal position so is unlikely to run past the end of summer.
We are looking for somebody who is friendly and hardworking, who can multitask, work to a deadline and still keep to our high standard of quality. They should be able to follow instruction from the Factory Manager/supervisors and have a keen eye for detail. Good communication and organisation are required to ensure the smooth running of the production line.
The position will be 2-3 days a week, 7am till 3pm (non-negotiable), during busy periods we may require you to work longer or different hours to accommodate for a higher volume of orders. There is a 45min paid lunch break at 12pm every day.
Your responsibilities are:
- Manufacture and finishing of products
- Helping packing team with day to day orders
- Keeping an organised and clean work space
As a small business with a tight schedule we are looking for somebody who can fit right in with our team and pick up the duties quickly. Experience in manufacturing or packing small items is ideal but not required as we provide full training in every aspect of the job.
