Department Research and Development
Reporting to Software Manager
Hours of Work 37.5 Hours per Week
Salary Dependent on Experience

JOB SUMMARY

To work within the research and development team producing / testing software for exciting new digital audio mixing products.

KEY DUTIES

Produce specifications / develop prototype code.
Develop software to a high standard.
Test, debug, and document code methodically.
Developing software features for new and existing products.

Qualifications

Degree or HND in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent knowledge.

Essential Experience

C++
GUI design.
OO Software analysis & design.

Desirable Experience

iOS
Qt
Android
Multi-platform development.
Understanding of Linux / Mac.
Understanding of networks.
Understanding of audio concepts

Desirable Attributes

Some experience or interest in audio.

Disposition

A highly motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team and on self-directed project work. Should be able to use own initiative and enjoy problem solving. Will have good communication Essential
skills possessing the ability to liaise with personnel at all levels. Must be dedicated with a flexible approach to working hours.

Other Requirements

Desire to live and work in Cornwall.
