About the role
We are looking for a motivated Assistant to join our London-based team and work closely with the Group Financial Controller. You will play a key role in supporting our daily financial operations, from maintaining accurate records to assisting with budgets and financial reporting.

What You Will Do
Your goal is to support the daily financial operations. We will teach you the specifics, but your tasks will include:

Two small entities accountancy

Processing AP and AR invoices

Preparing and executing payment runs
-
Preparing and entering GL entries for month-end close (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and etc)

Full balance sheet reconciliation
-
VAT returns
-
Variance analysis
-
Cost-effectiveness analysis
-
Payroll using Sage 50 (or similar software)

Management Accounts
-
Assisting with the annual budget, cash flow and forecasts

Assisting of improving current processes

Ad-hoc task
Who Are We Looking For-
We value attitude and potential over the years of experience.

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (completed)

You understand the basics of double-entry bookkeeping (debit/credit)

You are comfortable with spreadsheets
-
Advanced English (C1), Russian will be a plus
-
High level of accuracy, a methodical approach to work, and a genuine desire to grow in the finance sector

Previous office experience is a plus, but motivated beginners are welcome to apply
