You will lead the charge in securing grants, subsidies, and private tenders for First Connections and, crucially, act as a preferred specialist for our network of hundreds of businesses. We are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded writer who wants to share in the success of the wins they facilitate.
The Mission
- Grant & Subsidy Acquisition: Identify and apply for local, national, and industry-specific funding to fuel First Connections’ internal projects.
- Network Scaling: Act as the "go-to" tender expert for our extensive network, helping our member businesses secure the contracts and funding they need to scale.
- Content Strategy: Transform complex technical requirements into compelling, high-scoring bid responses.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with our leadership team and network partners to gather data, technical specs, and case studies.
- Visual Documentation: Use tools like Visio to create flowcharts or process diagrams that make our bids stand out from the competition.
Remuneration & Structure
We are offering a commission-based structure (to be discussed based on experience and success rates). This model offers unlimited upside for a high-performer who can consistently convert applications into wins.
Your Profile
- The Track Record: Proven experience in bid writing, grant applications, or tender management with a demonstrable "win" rate.
- The Communicator: Exceptional command of the English language with the ability to write persuasively and concisely.
- The Strategist: You don’t just fill in forms; you understand how to "sell" a vision to a panel of judges or procurement officers.
- The Connector: You thrive in a professional environment and can manage multiple projects for different clients within our network simultaneously.
