Founding Regional Director
UK SME Responsible Business Association (UKRBA)
Self-Employed Regional Leadership Opportunity
UK Territories Available
This is not an employed position.
The UK SME Responsible Business Association is preparing for national launch and is seeking a small number of Founding Regional Directors across the United Kingdom.
The market is moving.
Businesses are increasingly being asked to demonstrate their social impact and responsible business practices.
The Association has been created to help SMEs do exactly that.
This opportunity is designed for commercially minded professionals who want to help establish the Association within their region while building a recurring income stream linked to membership growth, strategic partnerships and regional development.
If you have an established business network, enjoy opening doors and building relationships, and would like to play a meaningful role in developing a national business organisation, we would like to hear from you.

Why Join Us?
As a Founding Regional Director, you will represent the Association within your territory and help establish a strong local presence.
Your focus will be on:
- Building relationships with SME business owners, directors and decision makers
- Developing partnerships with accountants, consultants and professional advisers
- Promoting the Association within the local business community
- Supporting membership growth
- Identifying strategic partnership opportunities
- Attending networking and business events
- Helping establish the Association throughout your region
This is a relationship-led leadership opportunity rather than a traditional sales role.
Regional Growth & Leadership
Regional Directors will not be expected to build their territory alone.
As membership and activity develop, you will have the opportunity to help build and support a regional team around you.
This may include identifying and mentoring individuals who can support membership growth, partnership development and regional engagement.
The objective is to create a sustainable regional presence rather than relying on a single individual, allowing the Association to effectively support businesses throughout the territory.
For the right person, this represents an opportunity to develop not only a territory, but a regional business infrastructure capable of supporting long-term growth.
Who We Are Looking For
This opportunity may be particularly suited to:
- Former business owners, founders, managing directors and company directors
- Commercial Directors, Business Development Directors and senior commercial leaders
- Regional Directors, Regional Managers, Area Managers and Territory Managers
- Chartered Accountants, Senior Accountants, Practice Managers, Client Managers, Tax Advisers and Finance Directors
- Business Consultants, Management Consultants, Growth Consultants, Strategy Consultants and SME Advisers
- Recruitment business owners, Recruitment Directors and senior recruitment professionals
- Agency owners, Agency Directors, Marketing Directors and Account Directors
- Chamber of Commerce members, networking professionals and partnership specialists
- Senior B2B sales professionals, Sales Directors, Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers
- Non-Executive Directors, interim directors, portfolio professionals, business mentors and fractional executives
Experience within CSR, ESG or responsible business is not essential.
We are looking for individuals with strong business networks, commercial credibility and the ability to build trusted relationships with SME owners and decision makers.
Income Potential
Unlike many opportunities that rely on one-off transactions, the Association operates a subscription-based membership model.
Regional Directors participate in recurring revenue generated through membership growth, strategic partnerships and regional development activity within their territory.
The model has been designed to create a recurring commercial income base over time rather than a conventional salary.
For individuals with strong networks, commercial experience and an entrepreneurial mindset, the long-term income potential may exceed that typically associated with traditional employed Regional Director positions.
As membership grows, recurring subscription revenue creates the potential for increasing long-term income and greater regional influence.
Full details of the commercial participation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
Interested?
We are seeking a limited number of Founding Regional Directors ahead of national launch.
If you are a former business owner, director, accountant, consultant or commercially minded professional with strong business relationships and an entrepreneurial mindset, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
This is an opportunity to become involved at the beginning, help shape the development of the Association within your region and build something of lasting value.
To apply, please send your CV and a brief introduction outlining your background and the region you are interested in.
