Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within the office. This role requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and excellent communication abilities to effectively manage tasks and assist team members.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
Handle data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, maintaining organised records.
Utilise Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Manage phone communications with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Assist in bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, ensuring financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
Organise office supplies and maintain an orderly workspace to enhance productivity.
Support various clerical duties as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office environment.

Experience

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
Proficiency in computerised systems, particularly Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team, showing initiative when required.
