The Role
The Content Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering content strategies across The DEN Nursery Group, DEN Training and Your Heart Scan, ensuring every communication strengthens our brands, engages our audiences and supports business growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing (Group), you'll create compelling content across websites, social media, PR, email marketing, recruitment campaigns and customer communications.
Working closely with the Brand & Creative Manager and Marketing Executive, you'll help shape how our businesses communicate with families, customers, learners, patients, partners and employees, ensuring a consistent tone of voice across all three brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver content strategies across The DEN Nursery Group, DEN Training and Your Heart Scan, supporting brand awareness, engagement and business growth.
- Create high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, PR, recruitment campaigns and customer communications.
- Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring content aligns with marketing campaigns and business priorities.
- Write compelling stories, case studies, thought leadership articles, press releases and award submissions that showcase our brands.
- Lead website content, SEO and content optimisation to improve visibility, engagement and customer experience.
- Create engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, video, photography and multimedia, working closely with the Brand & Creative Manager.
- Support internal communications, employer branding and marketing activity across all three businesses.
- Monitor content performance, analyse results and use insight to continuously improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with content marketing, SEO, AI and emerging trends, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a creative and commercially minded content professional who has:
- At least three years' experience in content marketing, communications, PR, journalism or copywriting.
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with experience creating content across websites, blogs, social media, email marketing and PR.
- A strong understanding of SEO, content marketing and audience engagement.
- Experience using WordPress and AI tools to support content creation and research.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive, curious and creative approach, with a passion for uncovering and sharing great stories.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively across the business.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how content supports brand growth, lead generation and customer engagement.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience within childcare, education, healthcare or another service-based industry.
- Experience managing PR and media relationships.
- Knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience creating video scripts or multimedia content.
