Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extrusion machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality materials, and maintaining efficient workflow within the production line. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, mechanical knowledge, or warehouse experience to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to specifications and safety standards.
Monitor machine operation, adjusting parameters as necessary to ensure optimal output quality.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on extrusion equipment,
Troubleshoot issues related to materials handling, tooling, or machine performance promptly to minimise downtime.
Use hand tools
Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and movement within the warehouse environment.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all operations.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to tooling, materials handling, and machinery operation.
Competence in basic maths for measurements and calculations essential for quality control.
Experience working with hand tools and industrial equipment within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of safety procedures and adherence to health standards.
Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; a proactive attitude towards learning is preferred. This role provides an engaging environment for individuals passionate about manufacturing technology and mechanical processes. Candidates should be organised, detail-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout their workday.
