At Sweetcroft Bespoke Joinery, we specialise in designing, manufacturing and installing luxury bespoke joinery for high-end residential properties across London. From bespoke kitchens and fitted wardrobes to media walls, home offices and custom furniture, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to become a key part of our workshop team.
This is more than just a bench joiner role. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of an ambitious, growing company and play an important role in its future. The successful candidate will have genuine input into how the workshop operates, helping to improve processes, maintain quality standards and shape the way we manufacture our projects as the business expands.
You'll be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke joinery from technical drawings, producing work to the highest standard using MDF, veneered boards, laminates and solid timber. You'll work on a variety of exciting projects including bespoke kitchens, fitted wardrobes, media units, cabinetry and one-off furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery from technical drawings.
- Produce high-quality kitchens, wardrobes, cabinetry and bespoke furniture.
- Assemble and prepare joinery ready for finishing and installation.
- Read and interpret production and CAD drawings accurately.
- Operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout production.
- Work independently while contributing to a small, professional team.
- Help improve workshop organisation, production methods and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Bench Joiner or Cabinet Maker.
- Proven experience manufacturing bespoke joinery to a high standard.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Confident using all standard woodworking machinery.
- Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated.
- Someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and contributing ideas.
