Full job description

Sleeky is a web design and digital marketing agency based in the North East of England. We work with a wide range of clients — from local tradespeople to established businesses — delivering websites, SEO, paid ads, and ongoing digital support.

We're a small, hybrid team, which means your work is visible, valued, and genuinely makes a difference. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats and want real-world experience across web and marketing, you'll fit right in.

We're looking for a talented and versatile Web Developer & Digital Marketing Executive to join our team. This is a hands-on, varied role that combines front-end website building with digital marketing — no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor, WP Bakery, and similar page builders
Write and publish blog posts and website copy, assisted by AI tools
Add and update content on client WordPress websites
Plan and implement SEO strategies, Google Ads campaigns, and social media activity
Maintain and support existing client websites
Provide customer support to clients
Attend client meetings and represent Sleeky professionally
Create project proposals using Adobe Illustrator

What We're Looking For:

Essential

Practical experience building websites with WordPress (Elementor or WP Bakery)
Strong communication skills — written and verbal
Ability to manage your own time and juggle multiple client projects
Experience with AI writing and coding tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)

Desirable

HTML/CSS/PHP/JS coding
Knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (or similar design tools)
Familiarity with Google Ads and social media marketing
Good copywriting skills with an eye for SEO
Previous agency experience
