Full job description

Administration Assistant/Receptionist (Part-Time)

We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team as an Administration Assistant/Receptionist. This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working across different departments and thrives in a busy environment.

If you’re organised, approachable, and have a positive, “can-do” attitude, this could be the perfect role for you.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Friendly, confident, and professional on the phone
Highly organised with strong multitasking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Able to cover the Showroom when needed and assist with deliveries
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Interested in social media and marketing (training provided)
Holds a full driving licence (preferred not essential)

Key Responsibilities

Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Monitoring and responding to emails
Maintaining and updating company databases
Preparing quotes and other documentation
Carrying out general administrative duties (filing, typing, organising)
Ordering and managing stock levels
Receiving and checking deliveries
Assisting with social media and light marketing tasks
Supporting with general ad-hoc duties as required, and making tea is also part of the fun!

What We Offer

Between £13.00 and £15.00 per hour depending on experience

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm (includes a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break)
Plus a minimum of 4 Saturdays per year to provide holiday cover

This is a part-time, permanent, office-based role located at:
Alfred House, Alfreton Road, Derby, DE21 4AF
