Pointe Shoe Quality Control - Full Training Provided

Location: Earl Shilton, Leicestershire (LE9 7HS)
Hours: 39 hours per week (permanent)
Pay: National Minimum/Living Wage (21+)

What You’ll Do
With full training, you’ll work towards checking and packing over 1,500 pairs of handmade pointe shoes each week, learning every stage of the process.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Checking finished pointe shoes for quality, following strict guidelines.
- Cobbling and repairs, using small hand tools.
- Cleaning of pointe shoes.
- Reporting to Supervisors of any obvious faults.
- Packing pointe shoes to order in a team environment.
- Logging packages, shipments and courier booking via a computer.
- Working in a very fast-paced environment on your feet.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic
- Sufficient with literacy and numeracy skills

Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (includes 30-minute lunch + two 10-minute breaks)
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm (includes one 10-minute break)
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 39.0 per week
