Many Sports Therapy graduates end up in one of three places.
You may be working pitch-side for very little money, giving up evenings and weekends to cover training and matches.
You may be self-employed and alone in a treatment room, with no real coaching, no structured mentorship and no one regularly observing your clinical work. Your income depends on an inconsistent diary, cancellations and your ability to find your own clients before you have even built confidence as a clinician.
Or you may have had to take work outside the profession simply to earn enough to live, leaving you wondering whether your Sports Therapy degree will ever become a genuine career.
These routes may give you experience, but they do not always give you confidence, stability or a clear future.

A five-year pathway into private MSK practice
We develop Sports Therapy graduates into confident, competent private MSK manual therapists through a structured five-year coaching and development pathway.
This is not a pitch-side, massage or exercise rehabilitation role.
You will develop in:
- Anatomy, pathology and diagnosis
- MSK assessment and clinical reasoning
- Manual therapy and joint mobilisation
- Grade 5 manipulation
- Clear client communication
- Efficient shorter appointments
- Managing more complex presentations
- Building a successful long-term client list
You will receive structured onboarding, weekly training, practical coaching, observation and direct feedback.
You will also receive extensive development in manual therapy, joint mobilisation and Grade 5 manipulation as part of your working week—not through a single course followed by unsupported practice.
You do not need to arrive as the finished clinician. You do need to be honest about what you still need to learn, open to feedback and willing to practise.
Instead of being left to hope confidence comes with time, your development is planned. We will help you become more decisive in your assessment, clearer in your diagnosis and more confident in your hands-on care.
The goal is not to make you sound confident. It is to help you become genuinely capable.
And the five-year pathway is not the end point. It is the foundation for a long-term clinical career, with increasing responsibility, earning potential, mentoring and leadership opportunities beyond it.

You will start on a guaranteed salary of £30,000, with an established flow of clients and no requirement to bring your own following.
As your confidence, client list and performance grow, our structured commission scheme creates realistic earnings of up to £50,000.
You can focus on becoming a better clinician rather than worrying about room rent, empty diary spaces or where your next client will come from.

Location and working pattern
Team Peak operates across Stoke-on-Trent, Leek and Ashbourne.
You will work across a maximum of two locations and must live, or be willing to relocate, within approximately 40 minutes of at least two Peak clinics.
The rota includes:
- Early shifts starting at 5:30am
- Late shifts finishing at 8:30pm
You must be able to commit reliably to both.
Essential requirement
You must hold, or be due to complete, a BSc degree specifically in Sports Therapy.
No equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
Newly qualified Sports Therapists and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
