Vintage Clothing Grader — Not Another Wholesale (Halifax, HX1)
Full-time preferred · open to 2× part-time for the right people · £13/hr · Flexible hours (roughly 30–40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, with occasional early container days)
About us
We're one of the UK's fastest-growing vintage clothing wholesalers, supplying over 8,000 resellers with hand-graded vintage clothing from our Halifax warehouse. We carry over 300 different varieties of stock, and every bundle we build leaves the warehouse hand-checked piece-by-piece — this role is the reason customers trust us.
The role
- Grade vintage clothing (A/B/C) against our grading system — condition, flaws, authenticity
- Sort incoming stock into categories: brands, eras, styles
- Unload containers and organise bales/boxes (from 5–45kg)
- Pick, pack and prep customer bundles, keeping quality consistent
- Keep the grading area organised, tidy and moving
- Get involved and help with our social media content
You'll need
- A genuine eye for vintage and preloved clothing — brands, eras, what sells (Carhartt, Ralph Lauren, The North Face, Levi's…)
- The ability to spot flaws fast: stains, rips, broken zips, fakes
- Retail, warehouse or stockroom experience
- Physical fitness — this is an on-your-feet, hands-on job
- Punctuality, reliability and pride in tidy, organised work
- Right to work in the UK
Big plus if you
- Resell yourself on Vinted, Depop or eBay (tell us!)
- Have used a pallet truck / worked container deliveries
- Know and love vintage clothing as much as we do
What we offer
- £13/hr · staff discount on stock
- Flexible hours
- A growing company where warehouse people move up (our last grader is being promoted, which is why this role exists)
- Music on, no corporate nonsense, genuinely good team environment
