At Oakenhurst Aircraft Services, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Component Certifying Inspector to join our growing Galley Accessory Division.

The Role

Working within our Galley Accessory Division, you will play a key role in ensuring aircraft components are maintained to the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and certifying a wide range of aircraft galley equipment and accessories, including:

Coffee makers and beverage makers
Water boilers and water heaters
Ovens and steam ovens
Taps and faucets

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Inspecting, overhauling, repairing and testing aircraft galley components
Carrying out approved modifications where required
Certifying completed work in accordance with customer requirements and aviation regulations
Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, Part 145 requirements and quality standards
Maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality and airworthiness
Working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding support to customers worldwide

About You

We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, detail-focused and committed to maintaining the highest standards within a regulated aviation environment.

Essential:

A recognised qualification in Engineering, Aviation, Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance, Electronics or a related discipline
Excellent attention to detail
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
The ability to work accurately within a regulated environment
A proactive attitude and commitment to quality

Desirable:

Previous experience as a Certifying Inspector within an approved Aircraft Component MRO environment
