Ensure all desserts meet high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and quality control throughout the preparation process
Manage ingredient inventory efficiently, minimizing waste while maintaining freshness and availability of supplies
Assist in plating and presentation of desserts to ensure visual appeal that entices diners
Follow established recipes and portion controls to deliver consistent, high-quality desserts every time
Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with health regulations and safety protocols

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or pastry arts within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong culinary background with a focus on desserts and pastry techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Hands-on experience with meal preparation, including baking, decorating, and finishing desserts
Previous restaurant experience that demonstrates ability to work efficiently under pressure
Serving experience is a plus, highlighting excellent customer service skills and attention to detail in presentation
