As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Security Operations Coordinator to join our Night Operations Team in Coalville.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role at the heart of our stolen vehicle recovery operation. Working nights, you will be responsible for monitoring vehicle tracking alerts, assessing potential theft incidents and taking immediate action when required. You'll work closely with customers, police forces, recovery agents and other operational partners to help protect customer assets and support vehicle recoveries across the UK. The role combines real-time incident management, customer communication, operational coordination and administration. Every shift can present new challenges, requiring someone who can remain calm under pressure, think clearly and make informed decisions in time-sensitive situations. Full training will be provided on our products, systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Alert Monitoring & Theft Response
- Monitor vehicle tracking alerts and assess potential risks.
- Investigate suspicious activity and determine appropriate next actions.
- Contact customers to verify vehicle status and establish whether a theft has occurred.
- Escalate confirmed or suspected theft incidents in accordance with company procedures.
- Support active stolen vehicle recovery operations.
- Liaise with police forces, recovery agents and other external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate updates on active incidents until resolution.
Stolen Vehicle Recovery Coordination
- Assist in coordinating vehicle recovery activity with police and recovery partners.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing theft cases.
- Ensure all theft-related records are accurately maintained and updated.
- Support the successful recovery and return of stolen vehicles.
- Provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders throughout incidents.
Customer Support & Operational Communication
- Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Provide guidance and reassurance to customers during theft-related incidents.
- Raise support tickets and accurately document reported issues.
- Support internal communication between departments during incidents.
- Maintain clear and detailed records of all actions taken.
Technical & Installer Support
- Provide first-line support to installers and customers when required.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and remote diagnostics.
- Support tracker commissioning activities where appropriate.
- Escalate technical issues to the relevant teams for investigation and resolution.
Administration & Operational Support
- Ensure customer and vehicle records remain accurate and up to date.
- Complete administrative tasks associated with incident management and operational activities.
- Respond to emails and internal requests in a timely manner.
- Support the smooth operation of the Night Operations Team.

Skills & Experience
Previous experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

However, industry experience is not essential. We are more interested in attitude, professionalism, communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Full training will be provided.
