HGV Class 1 Night Drivers West Thurrock!

We aim to think inside and outside the box, striving to be the carrier of choice for every consumer in the UK.
We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers (or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Lakeside Depot.
Night shifts typically start at 23:00

What You’ll Do:
Our HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in the EVRi network. You’ll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely; paperwork updated and assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weather don’t always play nicely, so you’ll need to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.
Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends.

£19.52 per hour with an overtime rate of £29.28

Essential Skills & Experience Required:
You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
