Full job description

We’re seeking a Picker Packers to join our team on a monthly rolling, fixed term contract.

What You’ll Do

This role involves picking, order packing, and general warehouse duties, including manual handling and maintaining a tidy work environment.

Candidates should be physically fit, as the role is hands-on and physically demanding.

You will also use computerised warehouse management and scanner systems, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately picking and packing items for orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers.
Picking and packing of goods, utilising hand-held scanners. Ensuring accuracy in items and quantities and that orders are neatly and securely packaged for shipment
Quality control items to ensure customer satisfaction
Stock replenishment and rotation
Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies or shortages
Stock taking

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience as a picker/packer or similar role in a warehouse or distribution centre is preferred, but not essential
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical duties as required
Basic computer skills for entering data
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Hard working, reliable with the ability to show initiative
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility in working hours, including weekend shifts
