Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and highly Professional Dental Receptionist to join one of the most successful Private Dental & Implant Centre in Hampshire The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional healthcare environment, contributing to patient care and practice efficiency.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently using practice management software
Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Handle patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary
Process payments and organise billing in accordance with practice procedures
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and managing incoming mail
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
Support the dental team with administrative duties as required

Experience

Previous dental receptionist or administrative experience is mandatory
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office or equivalent programmes

This role requires a professional and personable demeanour, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service. The position offers an engaging work environment where organisational skills are valued and developed.

HOURLY RATE: £14.00 - £15:00 per hour

WORK PATTERN: PART TIME OR FULL TIME CONSIDERED

Practice Opening Hours:

Monday: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Tuesday 8:00am - 6:00pm

Wednesday 8:00am - 6:00pm

Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm

Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Experience:

Dental receptionist: 2 years (required)
