You’ll take part in weekly cadet meetings, social action projects and local initiatives aimed at raising the profile of young people in the county and giving you a real insight into policing.

What’s in for you?
At Derbyshire Constabulary, we aim to create an environment that puts people first. We want you to feel supported in everything you do, so you can give your very best. As well as experiencing the different areas of policing such as task force, dog section, road policing unit and other operational teams, the scheme is structured to allow you to attain your Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
You will need to between the ages of 13-18 years old (Academic years 9 to 13 as of September 2026).
