Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling structural steel components with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your welding expertise, mechanical knowledge, and fabrication skills in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with various tools and materials, including power tools, to produce high-quality products that meet specified standards.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding, ensuring strong and accurate welds.
Fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
Maintain precision throughout the fabrication process.
Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide fabrication and welding tasks.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Experience

Strong knowledge of structual welding standards and practices.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment.
Experience performing assembly tasks.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Familiarity with reading technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics is essential.
Prior experience in a similar role involving welding, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is highly desirable. This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals passionate about welding and fabrication processes, eager to develop their skills further while contributing to high-quality production standards.

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
